Celadore Records is an independent Label founded in May 2000 which was created to provide an outlet for alternative styles of music that mainstream labels dont cater for. Celadore Records are based in the prestigious 18th Century Kensington Chapel in Bath.

We hope you will take the time to explore our site and listen to some of the music we have here.

Lots of excellent artists produce work that you may never hear because it does not conform to the finance driven business model favoured by mainstream purveyors of mass produced music ,or music produced for the masses. We hope to be a little different.

New Release 'The Martyrs of St Keverne'-by CELLADORE
We are proud to announce the release on JUNE 27th, 'An Gof' day This song relates the story of the Cornish rebellion of 1497, predicated by Henry VII punative taxes and suspension of the rule and independence of the stannaries, breaking King Edwards Ist 's pledge to the mining industry. It was inspired by visiting the statue of Thomas Flamank and Michael Joseph An Gof in the town of St Keverne and the abandoned coastal mine shafts which stand like ancient ruined temples, remnants of a long lost religion. more info
